Lucy is our Project Assistant

Lucy joined the volunteer team in November 2022, helping on Thursdays to welcome guests seeking asylum, and support with the day’s admin. Lucy started in the role of Project Assistant in October 2023.

Lucy’s motivation for working at The Olive Branch is to be able to get alongside people facing hardships, with a knowledge of God’s love for each person, and feeling moved to share this with people.

“It matters to me that this is a place that holds up faith alongside questions, joy alongside pain, and ultimately aims to bring hope that restores people’s strength” (Isaiah 40:31).

Sharing in the joy of a family seeking asylum, being reunited after many years apart.
